Exercise Right Week 2019 begins today! We are very excited to bring you all the news on what is happening across Australia during this week. Exercise Right Week is a public awareness campaign to inspire and encourage all Australians to move more in order to live a healthy and happy life. The goal this year is to educate people about the benefits of “active ageing” and to seek the right guidance and support from an accredited exercise physiologist for their individual needs.

The theme for Exercise Right Week 2019 is “active ageing”, which highlights the benefits of exercise throughout all stages of life to promote good physical and mental health, and to help reduce the risk of chronic illnesses.

Exercise Right Week Events
Are you ready for Exercise Right Week? Are you interested in making positive changes in your life to promote good health and happiness? Then let’s get involved! There are a range of events happening all over Australia during the week, now is the time to be a part of it and get active, whatever age you are.
So, what’s happening during the week? There will be free events, competitions and resources available throughout the week and online. There are over 50 events already registered with Exercise Right. You can find all these events and more on their website. There will also be much more going on during the campaign all over Australia, so keep your eyes peeled and ears open for these goings on.
The events listed on the website will be held around Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Southern Australia and Australian Capital Territory. These events will include health checks, group exercise sessions, home care package presentations, walking groups, information stalls led by exercise physiologists, mindfulness sessions, osteoporosis workshops, falls prevention and functional movement sessions, active ageing seminars led by health professionals, exercise programs and coaching, exercise in the park, cardiorespiratory classes, golf strength and control classes, balance classes, various sporting competitions and much more!
